About Us Hefcare is a trifold humanitarian agency helping deprived populations fight issues related to Health, Education and Food worldwide. During emergencies, we deliver food, first aid kits & medical supplies to where it is needed, saving the lives of victims of war, civil conflicts and natural disasters. After the cause of an emergency has passed, we continue providing food to help communities rebuild their shattered lives. Founded in 2006, Hefcare pursues a vision of the world in which every man, woman and child has access at all times to food, basic medical and educational necessities needed for an active and healthy life. We work towards that vision with guidelines from the United Nations (UN), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) -- as well as other government, UN and NGO partners. On average, Hefcare reaches more than 3 million people with health, education and food assistance in several countries each year. About 110 people work for the organization, most of them in remote areas, directly serving the deprived populations.
